About the role
We are expanding our EI&C team to support Energy, Manufacturing and Water projects across New Zealand and Australia. The Industrial EI&C Engineer will deliver electrical engineering solutions for industrial facilities, from concept design through to commissioning.
Key responsibilities
- Develop technical specifications and design power and control systems for industrial low‑voltage applications.
- Support lead electrical engineers or take ownership of electrical works on projects of varying size and sector.
- Collaborate with clients and contractors to integrate new solutions with existing installations.
- Travel to client and project sites across New Zealand to gain hands‑on experience with plant, machinery and automation systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering (Washington Accord) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of industrial low‑voltage power systems, instrumentation and control.
- Familiarity with hazardous‑area standards (AS/NZS 60079) is beneficial but not essential.
- Willingness to travel to site locations as required.
