Head of Digital Learning

About the role

Our client, a specialised training provider in Auckland, is looking for a Head of Digital Learning to lead a team of trainers and deliver hands‑on cloud and infrastructure education. This role blends teaching with strategic leadership, allowing you to shape curricula while staying connected to students.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Digital Learning trainers.
• Deliver approximately 15 hours per week of Level 7 teaching on the Diploma in Cloud Management.
• Keep programmes current with industry needs and contribute to curriculum evolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with students, staff and industry partners.
• Work with senior leadership on strategic direction and programme development.

Required profile

• Strong industry experience in cloud, infrastructure, DevOps or engineering.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Passion for helping people, especially those without traditional pathways into tech.
• Practical, solutions‑focused mindset and collaborative style.
