Data Center IT Technician – AWS Infrastructure

About the role

Join AWS Infrastructure Services and help keep the world’s cloud running. As a Data Center IT Technician you will install, configure, and troubleshoot the IT hardware that powers Amazon’s global data centers.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure racks of servers, storage and networking equipment according to internal SLAs.
• Diagnose and repair hardware issues, including physical replacement of parts.
• Remediate power and cooling incidents on rack level and support related events.
• Work rotating 4‑day shifts (including night shifts) and travel between sites using your own vehicle.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for site travel.
• Ability to lift and rack equipment using lifting tools.
• Willingness to work shift patterns and handle physical tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with server hardware installation and configuration.
• Knowledge of storage and network device troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AWS data‑center environments.
