Account Manager – Manawatu Region

About the role

Halter is seeking a motivated Account Manager to serve dairy farms across the Manawatu region. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, helping them maximise the value of Halter’s technology and achieve sustainable, productive farming outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue retention, renewals and expansion targets for existing customers in the region.
• Manage account renewals and identify upsell opportunities to grow revenue.
• Support onboarding, training and implementation of the Halter system on farms.
• Build genuine, trustworthy relationships with farmers, their teams and families.
• Partner with customers to set clear business goals, timelines and priorities, ensuring measurable farm success.

Required profile

• Driven, high‑performing individual with strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout the Manawatu region.
• Experience in account management, sales or customer success, preferably within agriculture or related technology.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for helping farmers succeed.
