Vehicle Readiness Specialist

About the role

The Vehicle Readiness Specialist ensures that new and used vehicles are prepared for customer delivery at Tesla’s Christchurch location. This role coordinates vehicle arrivals, inventory management, and movement between sites while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle arrivals and inventory across multiple off‑site locations.
• Work with internal teams and third‑party logistics providers to generate shipping documents.
• Perform vehicle readiness inspections, safety checks, and report any concerns.
• Manage vehicle movement, charging, and direct deliveries to customer homes when required.
• Communicate with delivery, service, and operations teams throughout the delivery process.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate to management as needed.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence in New Zealand with a clean driving history and ability to be insured.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg when required.
