Site Operations Manager

About the role

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead a safe, efficient and profitable site at our Te Kapua location. This fixed‑term position (9 months) offers the chance to drive operational excellence while building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take full leadership, operational and financial responsibility for the site’s performance.
• Execute operational targets and service levels by developing the frontline team and planning daily activities.
• Coordinate people management, operational and administrative functions within the facility.
• Monitor costs, support site planning and performance tracking.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, providing necessary resources and investments.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for site‑operation matters, fostering trust and engagement.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Strong expertise in managing operations or warehousing environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Financial acumen for budgeting, target setting and analysis.
• Track record of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
