SOC Analyst (Mid-Level)

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level SOC Analyst to join a fast‑growing security team during a key transformation phase. The role focuses on investigating security alerts, supporting incident response, and helping to mature the Security Operations Centre. You will work from brand‑new collaborative offices in New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations of security alerts and incidents.
• Coordinate and support incident response activities.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements in detection and response processes.
• Develop and refine playbooks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of proven experience in a SOC environment.
• Strong capability in incident investigation and response.
• Clear communicator who works well across teams and adapts quickly.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM solutions.
• Proficiency with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.
• Experience working with cloud platforms.
