Senior Project Manager

About the role

Kiwibank’s Transformation Office is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic delivery across business transformation, customer experience and digital initiatives. This 24‑month fixed‑term role will involve working with executive stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable plans that drive meaningful change for customers and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross‑functional projects with multiple internal and external dependencies.
• Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Own the full delivery lifecycle from investment case development to benefit tracking and budget forecasting.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable delivery plans and ensure efficient execution.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate customer feedback and maintain a customer‑centric focus.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering projects in financial services or lending environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with senior executives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, take ownership and drive proactive delivery.
• Experience developing investment cases, managing budgets and tracking benefits.
• Comfort with agile methodologies and leading change initiatives.
