About the role
Westpac is seeking a strategically minded procurement professional to lead end‑to‑end procurement activity across its Professional Services portfolio. The role will be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch and operates under a hybrid working model.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic category management plans for Professional Services spend.
- Lead sourcing, negotiation and contract activities, ensuring commercial and sustainable outcomes.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to design labour sourcing and engagement models, including supplier optimisation and governance.
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle from strategy through to contract and supplier management.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Required profile
- Proven experience in professional services procurement, handling complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver end‑to‑end procurement programmes or large‑scale initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially with senior leaders.
- Collaborative, solutions‑focused approach with sound commercial judgement.
- Integrity and professionalism in supplier and stakeholder relationships.
