Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Workday is expanding its cybersecurity response program and needs a seasoned engineer to help build the Security Center of the future. You will work on high‑visibility incidents, integrate AI into security workflows, and strengthen our SaaS platform’s defenses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance incident response, digital forensics (DFIR), threat hunting, security automation, and data loss prevention capabilities.
• Integrate artificial‑intelligence techniques into operational security processes.
• Collaborate with global Workday teams to respond quickly to malicious activity and minimize damage.
• Support security across multiple cloud environments and on‑premise systems.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as a security engineer or analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven expertise in incident response, security automation, system and network security, threat hunting, digital forensics, and AI.
• Ability to work in a hybrid/flexible schedule.
