On-site Technician – End User Support

About the role

Fujitsu is looking for an On‑site Technician to deliver customer‑centric Level 1 and Level 2 end‑user support for its clients in Christchurch. You will work directly with customers, supporting operating systems, desktop management tools, Fujitsu‑approved applications, PCs, smart devices and peripherals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for hardware, operating systems, software, networks, servers and printers.
• Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLA, logging all actions in the client ITSM tool.
• Perform asset refresh, relocation, deployment and decommission while maintaining data integrity in the CMDB.
• Maintain customers' physical infrastructure, including desktops, telephony, audio/visual conferencing equipment and peripherals.
• Communicate case progress to customers, manage expectations and escalate issues when needed.
• Record timesheets and project effort accurately and complete required training on schedule.
• Identify and propose technical improvements, automation or documentation enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience supporting end‑user devices at Level 1 (remote) or Level 2.
• Strong knowledge of hardware and peripherals such as laptops, workstations, printers and AV equipment.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems (Windows 7 through 10) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with desktop‑management client software and BYOD/mobile environments.

What we offer

• Salary range NZD 65,000 – 70,000 per annum
