Senior Corporate Accountant

About the role

This senior corporate accountant position sits within a global investment and asset management group, offering exposure to listed reporting, large‑scale investments and complex technical accounting challenges. You will work closely with senior finance leaders to deliver high‑quality financial information across a diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly group consolidation, reviewing journals, reconciliations and reporting packs.
• Prepare and deliver Board‑level reporting and performance insights.
• Support preparation of half‑year and annual statutory financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Prepare audit deliverables and liaise with external auditors.
• Contribute to budgeting, financial planning and tax compliance (GST, WHT).
• Partner with senior finance stakeholders on technical and reporting matters.
• Mentor junior team members and act as a key finance contact.
• Assist with systems upgrades, process improvements and acquisition integration.

Required profile

• CA qualification with several years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong grounding in financial reporting, consolidation and IFRS.
• Experience in a complex corporate or listed environment, or a leading professional services firm.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and a collaborative mindset.
• Curious, proactive and comfortable in a high‑performance environment.
