About the role

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to join a large, complex enterprise environment where security, architecture, and strategic technology direction are highly valued. This senior position will shape architectural direction, influence investment decisions, and embed a security lens across major platforms and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level security architecture leadership across enterprise and platform initiatives.
• Define and evolve architecture principles, standards, patterns, and guardrails.
• Contribute to strategic architecture artefacts, roadmaps, and long‑term planning.
• Partner with senior leaders and delivery teams to ensure secure, scalable outcomes.
• Guide decision‑making around architecture trade‑offs, risk, resilience, and control design.
• Integrate security considerations into transformation, innovation, and future‑state planning.
• Support governance processes and promote consistency across architecture practices.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, translating complexity into clear recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in security architecture with enterprise‑level experience.
• Strong technical credibility combined with sound judgement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication skills.
• Ability to define high‑level principles while also guiding detailed design decisions.
