Retail Assistant – Riccarton Store

About the role

We are looking for two enthusiastic Retail Assistants to join our Riccarton store on a fixed‑term contract until August 2027, covering parental leave. You will be the front‑line face of the store, helping customers navigate our technology‑focused product range.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with sales, product selection and troubleshooting.
• Provide high‑quality customer service and maintain store merchandising standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Stay informed about the latest technologies to translate technical features into simple benefits for shoppers.

Required profile

• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and a love for technology.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Previous experience in customer service or sales.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player who can work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends.
