About the role

Join the team at Waiapu House Lifecare in Havelock North as a Casual Registered Nurse. You will provide high‑quality nursing care to residents in an 80‑bed aged‑care facility, working flexible shifts that suit your schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of caregivers to deliver safe, compassionate care.
• Develop, monitor, and update individual care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document findings.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families, and GPs.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers with day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (APC) in New Zealand or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Previous nursing experience, preferably in aged‑care or residential settings.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for helping people and a collaborative team spirit.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and continuous improvement.
