About the role
We are looking for a Casual Registered Nurse to join Waiapu House Lifecare in Havelock North. The role offers flexible AM, PM, night and weekend shifts, allowing you to choose the hours that suit your lifestyle while delivering high‑quality care to our residents.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of dedicated caregivers to ensure excellent resident care.
- Develop, monitor and update individual care plans.
- Conduct clinical assessments and document findings.
- Build lasting relationships with residents, families and general practitioners.
- Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in day‑to‑day operations.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand or overseas.
- Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
- Genuine passion for helping people and a collaborative team spirit.
- Commitment to health and safety and continuous improvement.
Required skills
- APC (Annual Practising Certificate).
- Clinical assessment.
- Care plan development.
