Registered Nurse – Aged Care (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join Brookhaven Retirement Village in Christchurch. You will provide high‑quality nursing care to our residents, lead a team of caregivers, and ensure a warm, compassionate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of dedicated caregivers to deliver quality care.
• Develop, monitor and update individual care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and oversee resident health management.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families and general practitioners.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand or abroad.
• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for helping people with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Team‑oriented mindset with empathy and a drive to improve resident wellbeing.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.

Required skills

• Current APC (Annual Practising Certificate).
• Clinical assessment.
• Care plan development.
