Recruitment Specialist

About the role

Based in Christchurch, the Recruitment Specialist plays a key role in delivering a seamless, proactive, and high‑quality recruitment service across the organisation. This end‑to‑end role focuses on building capability, embedding best practice, and designing forward‑thinking sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent throughout New Zealand and regional markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, forward‑looking recruitment strategies that attract and engage diverse talent.
• Partner with leaders to proactively manage workforce planning.
• Own the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality candidate experience.
• Champion a consistent, high‑quality candidate experience and lead outreach initiatives such as internship and graduate programmes.
• Lead adoption and optimisation of Workday recruitment systems, training hiring managers and HR team members.
• Promote fair, consistent, best‑practice recruitment approaches across the business.

Required profile

• 3+ years of recruitment experience in‑house or agency.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practice and sourcing strategies.
• Proven ability to own end‑to‑end recruitment processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Focus on delivering a positive, consistent candidate experience.
