Receptionist – Part‑Time (32 hrs/week)

About the role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Receptionist to join Stillwater Lifecare & Village on a permanent part‑time basis (32 hours per week, Monday‑Friday). You will be the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and staff, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries promptly.
- Welcome and assist visitors, residents and staff at the front desk.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry and record keeping.
- Process invoices and on‑charging tasks, or learn the relevant systems quickly.
- Support the wider team by maintaining a tidy reception area and handling routine queries.
Required profile
- Previous administration experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to build positive professional relationships with residents, staff, visitors and external stakeholders.
- Strong time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of Nga Paerewa sector standards and the Treaty of Waitangi in the workplace.
Required skills
- High‑level computer literacy.
- Experience with invoicing or on‑charging processes (or willingness to learn).
