Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of goods, ensuring that production targets are achieved on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role coordinates across departments, resolves production issues, and leads a team of workers to maintain efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production activities.
• Supervise the production process and ensure targets are met.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to align production goals.
• Identify and solve production‑related problems.
• Communicate effectively with workers, management, and customers.
• Train, develop, monitor and evaluate worker performance.
• Participate in the development of policies and procedures.
• Prepare production reports and keep accurate records.
• Ensure equipment and machinery are well‑maintained.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Production Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of production and manufacturing principles, techniques, and equipment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Leadership, organizational and project‑management capabilities.
• Problem‑solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with production management software.
