Procurement Lead – Strategic Sourcing & Stakeholder Impact

About the role

Kiwibank is seeking a Procurement Lead to drive strategic sourcing and deliver sustainable procurement outcomes across the organisation. You will partner with internal teams and external suppliers to create value‑focused solutions that support both customer and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning, sourcing and tendering activities for commodities, services, digital and technology engagements.
• Develop and execute category‑specific sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage contract negotiation, supplier onboarding, and ongoing supplier performance.
• Embed regulatory, risk and compliance requirements throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of procurement outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing sourcing strategies across multiple categories.
• Background in procurement within digital and technology environments.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication abilities.
• Experience working in highly regulated sectors.
• Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and drive continuous improvement.
