About the role

NorthCare is seeking a motivated Registered Practice Nurse to join its friendly, well‑supported team at the Grandview Road clinic. This full‑time position offers the chance to work closely with the local community, delivering whānau‑centred primary care and building lasting patient relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immunisations and cervical screening services.
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and asthma.
• Handle acute presentations, perform triage and initial assessments.
• Deliver health education and preventative care initiatives.

Required profile

• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) – essential.
• Experience in primary health‑care settings – desirable.
• Ability to maintain high clinical standards and a positive, patient‑first attitude.
• Strong teamwork orientation and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with experience in OMS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Indici software – desirable.
