General Radiologist & Clinic Lead – Hamilton & Tauranga

About the role

I-MED is seeking experienced General Radiologists for its Hamilton and Tauranga sites, as well as a Clinic Lead for Tauranga. You will join a network of 25 radiologists across 17 New Zealand branches, delivering high‑quality imaging services in public, private and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret a broad range of imaging studies, including MRI, CT, PET‑CT and X‑ray.
• Provide on‑site reporting and support the remote after‑hours reporting centre.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and mentor junior staff.
• Lead the Tauranga clinic, overseeing workflow, quality assurance and business development.
• Participate in continuous professional development and in‑house educational sessions.

Required profile

• FRANZCR qualification (or equivalent).
• Specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (or eligibility).
• Strong general radiology experience with interest in sub‑specialties such as oncology, PET‑CT, nuclear medicine, musculoskeletal, paediatrics or neuro imaging.
