About the role
The Treasury is seeking a Performance and Capability Coach to lead the development and delivery of initiatives that boost the performance and capability of its administrative workforce. This fixed‑term position will work within the People and Capability team to create a high‑performing, adaptable, and engaged admin staff.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver tailored training programmes and resources for administrative staff.
- Coach and mentor individuals to help them achieve professional goals and align with Treasury objectives.
- Partner with people leaders to identify development needs and create solutions that match organisational priorities.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of capability‑building initiatives, recommending improvements.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, ensuring staff feel valued, supported and empowered.
Required profile
- Motivated and experienced professional with a passion for people development.
- Strong understanding of administrative functions and processes.
- Proven experience in coaching, mentoring or training roles, preferably in the public sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborative, solutions‑focused approach and ability to work with managers and teams.
