Night Guest Service Agent

About the role

Join Sudima Auckland Airport as a Night Guest Service Agent and be the first friendly face guests encounter after a long flight. Working the night shift, you will manage check‑ins and check‑outs, handle reservations, and provide local advice, ensuring a smooth and memorable stay for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, complete check‑in procedures and issue room keys.
• Answer guest enquiries, resolve complaints and provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Process reservations, cancellations and payments using the hotel’s booking system.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and in good condition.
• Maintain accurate guest records and stay up‑to‑date on room types, rates and promotional packages.
• Upsell rooms, promotions and hotel services such as the restaurant and bar.
• Follow all security, fire and health‑and‑safety policies.
• Assist other departments, handle porterage and valet requests, and support overnight room service orders.

Required profile

• Flexible to work rostered night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence (essential).
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Well‑presented with high grooming standards.
• Calm, organised and detail‑oriented in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with front‑office systems and hotel booking software.
