Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Timescapes is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join its growing AI team. You will work closely with product and engineering colleagues to create computer‑vision models and integrate them into our construction‑progress tracking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate machine‑learning models (especially computer‑vision) to solve construction‑site tracking problems.
• Run experiments with large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI systems, deciding when to build custom solutions versus using off‑the‑shelf models.
• Build software tools that manage the full ML lifecycle: data acquisition, labeling, training, pipeline orchestration, and monitoring.
• Source, curate, and quality‑check training data for model development.
• Deploy and maintain high‑throughput ML inference infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering production‑grade software that includes critical ML components.
• Hands‑on experience with computer‑vision model development and end‑to‑end ML operations.
• Strong experimentation skills with LLMs, LVMs, and multimodal models.
• Familiarity with model validation, verification, and performance monitoring.
