Implementation Manager – Accounting Tech

About the role

ZatoZato is an AI‑native compliance production platform helping accounting firms in New Zealand and Australia modernise their operations. We are seeking an Accounting Implementation Manager to lead firm onboarding, workflow redesign, and adoption of our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, pilots, demos and workflow implementation for ANZ accounting firms.
• Configure Zato to match each firm’s structure, services and systems.
• Run customer‑facing sessions, troubleshoot integration or data issues, and support transitions from outsourcing to automated workflows.
• Build strong relationships with partners, managers and accounting teams, tracking adoption and success metrics.
• Participate in feature rollouts, training initiatives and support webinars, events and conferences.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) with recent experience in a New Zealand accounting practice or accounting‑tech firm.
• Deep knowledge of Xero/XPM and typical CA firm workflows.
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple firm portfolios, deadlines and priorities.
