Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, product costing, and reporting for its manufacturing sites. The role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to drive performance and ensure financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Support forecasting, budgeting, month‑end close, and routine reporting for manufacturing sites.
• Consolidate financial performance across systems such as SAP and HFM.
• Lead the annual standard cost setting process and perform SKU‑level cost driver analysis.
• Analyze variances in material usage, spending, and operational performance.
• Document fixed‑asset procedures, coordinate inventories, and support audit activities.
• Collaborate with department managers on zero‑based budgeting and quarterly forecasts.
• Assist with special projects, ad‑hoc analyses, and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience with progressive responsibility.
• Experience in cost accounting, management accounting, or manufacturing finance.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
