About the role

Join a values‑led organisation that embraces Te Ao Māori in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. This is a three‑month temporary position with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide HR support and coordination across the team.
  • Manage a high‑volume HR inbox and ensure timely responses.
  • Support the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from posting to onboarding.
  • Assist with payroll administration tasks.
  • Act as the “glue” that keeps the high‑performing HR team connected and efficient.

Required profile

  • At least 1 year of HR generalist or coordination experience.
  • Highly organised, proactive, resilient and calm in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Confident communicator who can engage stakeholders and speak up when needed.
  • Genuine interest in Te Ao Māori and cultural awareness.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
