About the role
Join a values‑led organisation that embraces Te Ao Māori in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. This is a three‑month temporary position with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Provide HR support and coordination across the team.
- Manage a high‑volume HR inbox and ensure timely responses.
- Support the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from posting to onboarding.
- Assist with payroll administration tasks.
- Act as the “glue” that keeps the high‑performing HR team connected and efficient.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of HR generalist or coordination experience.
- Highly organised, proactive, resilient and calm in a fast‑paced setting.
- Confident communicator who can engage stakeholders and speak up when needed.
- Genuine interest in Te Ao Māori and cultural awareness.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
