About the role
Habit Health, a nationwide provider in the rehabilitation sector, is seeking an HR Advisor for its Wellington Head Office. This intermediate‑level role blends generalist HR and employee‑relations duties while offering exposure to the full HR lifecycle through professional development initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with a portfolio of business units to address operational HR needs.
- Lead or contribute to HR projects aligned with the company’s strategic plan.
- Improve HR systems and procedures, adding value to existing processes.
- Manage queries and requests via a shared inbox and the ELMO HR system, ensuring responses comply with policies, legislation, and employment agreements.
Required profile
- 2‑4 years of experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist role.
- Strong relationship‑building skills across all organisational levels.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to roll up sleeves in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Experience using the ELMO HR system.
