People & Culture Advisor

About the role

Join TVNZ as a People & Culture Advisor and partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic HR solutions while championing the HRIS platform. You will ensure people processes run smoothly and support business growth across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide frontline P&C advice on policies, processes, recruitment, employee relations, change management and industrial relations.
• Draft position descriptions and prepare roles for recruitment in collaboration with Business Partners.
• Act as a super‑user and lead the ongoing optimisation of TVNZ’s HRIS.
• Support the Senior Health & Safety Consultant to enhance the Health & Safety System.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues for both the HRIS and Health & Safety System.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising leaders on People & Culture matters.
• Strong understanding of the Employment Relations Act and related legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with business partners.
• Commercially minded, analytical and data‑driven with a focus on efficiency.
• Highly organised, deadline‑oriented and proactive.
