About the role
Gallagher is seeking a Group Finance and Tax Lead to head its global finance function. The role combines financial reporting, tax compliance, treasury and strategic finance leadership across the company’s international operations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead group consolidation, statutory reporting and audit processes.
- Oversee New Zealand and Australia tax compliance, governance and transfer‑pricing activities.
- Support treasury oversight and broader financial risk management.
- Drive ERP and finance‑systems initiatives from a governance and compliance perspective.
- Improve finance processes, reporting frameworks and internal controls.
- Provide financial insight to executive and governance stakeholders.
- Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing finance team.
- Build strong relationships across Gallagher’s global operations and external partners.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in financial reporting, compliance and tax within a complex, multinational environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in NZ and AU tax, including transfer‑pricing.
- Proven ability to operate within robust corporate governance frameworks.
- Strategic, commercially minded leadership style.
Required skills
- ERP systems implementation and governance.
