About the role
We are seeking a Grain Administrator to join our friendly Grain team in Ashburton. This 12‑month fixed‑term position supports grain trading activities by providing accurate, timely administration and excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across grain operations, including transaction processing, logistics, inventory monitoring, and reporting.
- Prepare, process, and maintain grain contracts, ensuring documentation is accurate and well‑controlled.
- Maintain accurate records in business systems and databases, covering contract and sample data.
- Deliver high‑quality customer service, responding to enquiries professionally and ensuring follow‑up.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in an administration role with confidence using databases and business systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑volume environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer‑focused approach.
- Well‑organized, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
