About the role
KPMG is seeking an experienced Financial Services Consultant to lead account strategy for one of its flagship banking clients. In this Associate Director position, you will shape multi‑year strategic roadmaps, guide senior executives through transformation, and deliver high‑value consulting engagements.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver complex consulting solutions that achieve measurable strategic outcomes for banking clients.
- Manage client expectations, negotiate scope, timelines, and outcomes, and ensure projects meet quality, budget, and schedule targets.
- Develop and execute a multi‑year account strategy, setting growth priorities across retail, business, and institutional banking.
- Identify new opportunities to expand KPMG’s consulting offering and contribute to service‑line development.
- Coach and develop consulting staff through hands‑on leadership.
Required profile
- Proven experience in financial services consulting, preferably at a senior or associate‑director level.
- Strong track record of managing large‑scale change programmes for banking institutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to translate industry trends into actionable client strategies.
