About the role
ASB is looking for two Customer Specialists to join its Advice Centre team, supporting both the Whangarei and Dargaville branches. The role involves helping customers with a wide range of banking needs across in‑branch, phone and digital channels, while encouraging the use of online and self‑service solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers with everyday banking transactions and enquiries in person, by phone and via digital messaging.
- Promote and guide customers toward ASB’s digital banking tools and self‑service options.
- Provide accurate information on products, services and account details.
- Collaborate with the hubbed team to ensure seamless service across both locations.
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
Required profile
- Enjoys building relationships and helping customers succeed.
- Adaptable and comfortable working across multiple communication channels.
- Quick learner who asks insightful questions to understand customer needs.
- Passionate about helping customers feel confident using digital banking.
- Energetic, curious and committed to delivering great outcomes.
