Corporate Tax Manager / Senior Manager (Part-time)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic tax professional to join PwC New Zealand in Auckland as a part‑time Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager. The role will lead a team of experienced advisors, delivering high‑quality tax advice to high‑value global clients while leveraging innovative digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex tax advisory and compliance engagements, including acquisitions, divestments, and corporate tax reviews.
• Utilise GenAI and other digital tools to improve efficiency, consistency and client outcomes.
• Coach, delegate to and support junior team members across advisory and compliance work.
• Develop and maintain trusted client relationships, driving sustainable growth and business development.
• Identify value‑add opportunities and contribute to portfolio growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of proven tax experience in a professional environment.
• Strong understanding of New Zealand tax legislation and revenue authority practices.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams or complex projects.
• Experience in business development and strategic client relationship management.
• International tax experience is a plus.
