Business Analyst / Functional Consultant – Salesforce

About the role

EROAD is expanding its Business Analyst team and seeks an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst / Functional Consultant. The role blends functional consulting with hands‑on business analysis, supporting commercial operations, lead‑to‑cash processes, and customer‑facing workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Salesforce subject‑matter expert across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud (CPQ/Billing) and related integrations.
• Lead functional design, configuration and optimisation of the Salesforce platform to meet business needs.
• Own the full requirements lifecycle – discovery, documentation, validation, testing and delivery.
• Analyse existing configurations, identify gaps and drive continuous improvement to reduce manual effort and enhance data quality.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Finance and Operations to capture and translate requirements.
• Partner with developers, architects and data analysts to produce functional and technical specifications.
• Support User Acceptance Testing, defect management and production readiness.
• Assist with training, change management and user adoption initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Functional Consultant.
• Strong ability to bridge business processes with technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and documentation.
• Track record of delivering Salesforce enhancements in commercial environments.
