Account Director, Australasia – New Zealand

About the role

This high‑impact commercial position is responsible for owning and expanding key client relationships across Australasia for IHG Hotels & Resorts. You will shape demand, influence conversion and drive revenue through strategic partnerships with hotel teams and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, developing long‑term account plans and strong relationships.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while maximising share and revenue from existing clients.
• Collaborate closely with hotel sales teams to support conversion and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Use market insights and performance data to inform account strategy and business decisions.
• Represent IHG at industry events, building brand presence and credibility in the market.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing or Hospitality Management.
• Proven experience managing key accounts and driving new business in sales or commercial roles.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and build trusted client relationships.
• Solid understanding of revenue planning, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence to represent multiple properties.
