About the role

Farmers' The Palms store is looking for an energetic Sales and Service Assistant for its womenswear department. The role is part-time, focused on giving customers friendly, helpful service and a great shopping experience. Farmers emphasises training and development and growing people from within.

Key responsibilities

Welcome customers into the store and offer assistance
Listen to their needs and find solutions
Provide product knowledge to help customers choose
Keep the department tidy and well stocked
Assist customers in the fitting rooms

Required profile

Ideally at least 1-2 years of retail experience
Energetic, positive and with a can-do attitude, as stores can be busy
Entitlement to work in New Zealand; evidence of this is requested during selection and original documents are needed at interview

The shift pattern is Thursday 5:15pm to 9:15pm and Saturday 10:00am to 6:15pm.
