Wealth Manager (Contractor) - International

About the role

An award-winning financial services firm focused on sustainability, client outcomes and long-term wealth creation is seeking Wealth Managers to join its expanding global team. As a contractor based in Auckland, you will take a consultative, holistic approach to financial planning, managing diverse client portfolios and building long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Build and expand a B2C client base
• Manage and support client portfolios with ongoing advice
• Identify opportunities to grow assets under management
• Conduct detailed financial reviews and develop tailored strategies
• Recommend suitable financial products across investments, pensions and protection
• Monitor global markets and assess risks affecting client portfolios
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements
• Provide a high level of ongoing client service and relationship management

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years of client-facing experience in wealth management or financial advisory
• Proven track record in financial sales and client acquisition
• NZ Level 5 qualification (required)
• UK Level 4 qualification (CISI/CII or equivalent) preferred, or willingness to obtain one
• Degree in business, finance, economics or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with high-net-worth clients is advantageous
