Veterinary Nurse – Full-time Fixed-term

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our purpose‑built clinic while our Head Nurse is on maternity leave. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week position on a fixed‑term contract running until May 2027, within a supportive and customer‑focused team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective support to veterinarians in all aspects of veterinary nursing.
• Monitor anaesthesia and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Perform IV catheter placement and blood collection.
• Assist in a variety of surgeries, including orthopaedic cases.

Required profile

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse with ideally 4+ years of experience.
• Confidence to mentor junior veterinary nurses.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to delivering excellent patient care and customer service.
• Solid communication skills and a genuine love for animals and their owners.
