Vehicle Sales Consultant

About the role

Join Taupo Toyota’s expanding Used Vehicle Sales team and help customers find the perfect vehicle for their needs and budget. You will work in a brand‑new showroom environment, backed by New Zealand’s most trusted automotive brand.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers from first contact through to vehicle handover.
• Match customers with suitable used vehicles from a constantly changing stock range.
• Build genuine, long‑term relationships rather than following scripted interactions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of inventory and promotional offers.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Confident communicator who enjoys talking with people.
• Quick learner, adaptable and comfortable with change.
• Motivated, reliable and driven to meet targets.
• Positive, energetic attitude and willingness to try new approaches.
• Sales experience is helpful but not essential – a strong people‑connect mindset is key.
