Vehicle Sales Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Used Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our expanding team at Taupo Toyota. In this fast‑paced environment you will help customers find the right vehicle for their needs and budget while representing New Zealand’s most trusted automotive brand.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to match them with suitable used vehicles.
• Manage enquiries from first contact through to handover.
• Build genuine, unscripted relationships with clients.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the constantly changing stock range.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets in a dynamic setting.

Required profile

• Confident communicator who enjoys talking with people.
• Quick learner, adaptable and comfortable in a changing environment.
• Motivated, reliable and driven to succeed.
• Target‑oriented and able to work towards sales goals.
• Positive, energetic and willing to try new approaches.
• Sales experience helpful but not essential – the ability to connect with people is key.
