Trade Assistant, Richlands

About the role

Scania Richlands is looking for a Trade Assistant to join its New Vehicle Delivery team. The role supports the preparation and delivery of new trucks, helping technicians ensure quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Complete pre-delivery repairs and fit-up work on new trucks
• Assist technicians as required
• Follow work instructions and complete the relevant documentation

Required profile

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in a similar position
• Current Heavy Commercial driver's licence (HR class desirable), or able to obtain one
• Experience in new vehicle preparation, heavy vehicle or automotive repair and servicing (preferred)
• Scania or European truck experience (desirable)
• Strong communication and exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• New Zealand or Australian working rights
