Technical Sales Specialist (Animal Health)

About the role

Elanco, a global leader in animal health, is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to provide technical support for its AHV product range. The role bridges internal marketing and sales teams with external veterinary professionals and corporate clients, helping drive product strategy and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialist technical knowledge on animal health products and diseases to internal teams, veterinarians, and farmers.
• Investigate and resolve product‑related inquiries or complaints following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Oversee clinical and marketing trials supporting existing products and new product development.
• Collaborate with Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, and industry opinion leaders to ensure technical alignment.
• Contribute technical expertise to marketing campaigns and materials while adhering to Elanco SOPs and budget guidelines.

Required profile

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine registrable in New Zealand.
• Professional experience working in small‑ and large‑animal veterinary practices.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong technical aptitude in animal health.

• Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
