Systems Administrator – APAC Operations

About the role

GHD is seeking a technically strong Systems Administrator to support its Asia‑Pacific operations. The role will be based in one of several major cities and works within a hybrid model, combining office collaboration with flexible remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Provision, manage, monitor and de‑commission systems and platforms to ensure availability, reliability and security.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Technology teams to align technologies and services with business requirements and IT best practices.
• Provide high‑level technical guidance to Service Delivery teams across the APAC region.
• Analyse complex operational and architectural issues, identify root causes and drive resolution.
• Coordinate technical discussions, workshops and incident reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Automate deployment and configuration management using scripting languages.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to break down multi‑domain issues and formulate clear problem statements.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate technical conversations across diverse teams.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment and collaborating with cross‑functional partners.
