Supply Planner

About the role

The company is a well‑established food manufacturing business operating a large production site in Tokoroa. As a newly created Supply Planner you will own the supply plan for dairy activities, manage inventory and ensure quality and on‑time delivery targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans aligned with production forecasts and customer demand.
• Manage MRP outputs in SAP, adjusting for disruptions or demand changes.
• Control inventory levels for raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished goods.
• Set safety stock levels and reorder points to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Work directly with suppliers to resolve delivery issues.
• Liaise with production, procurement, logistics and quality teams to keep supply on track.
• Track forecast accuracy, service level and inventory turnover.
• Own new SKU set‑up and maintain clean master data.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Background in FMCG or food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and MRP systems.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• CPIM or equivalent supply‑chain qualification is an advantage.
• Ability to build relationships across teams and sites.
