Site Logistics Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Site Logistics Supervisor to join our project team on a full‑time, site‑based basis for an upcoming utility‑scale renewable energy project in New Zealand. This hands‑on construction role manages all site logistics activities to ensure materials, equipment, plant, and deliveries are available when and where they are required for successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site logistics including material deliveries, storage, inventory control, laydown areas, and site movements.
• Coordinate transport, heavy‑vehicle movements, crane activities, and delivery sequencing to support construction priorities.
• Establish and maintain efficient material management systems, ensuring equipment and materials are available when required.
• Manage site waste processes, including waste tracking, contractor coordination, recycling, and environmental compliance.
• Work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to identify logistics risks and improve project efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site logistics, construction logistics, materials management, or site operations.
• Proven experience coordinating deliveries, material movements, and logistics activities on large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site productivity, storage requirements, and laydown management.
• Experience managing subcontractors, transport providers, and waste contractors within a site environment.
• Proactive and organised with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced project environment.
