About the role
The Cargo Operations & Logistics Manager will oversee vessel planning, coordinate cargo movements, and manage port operations for New Zealand’s coastal shipping. Based in Auckland CBD, this full‑time on‑site position ensures the efficient handling of freight across the country’s coastal routes and reports to senior management.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and schedule vessel itineraries to optimise cargo delivery.
- Coordinate cargo loading, unloading and related documentation across ports.
- Supervise day‑to‑day port operations to maintain safe and efficient freight handling.
